Project Description

In collaboration with MetroPlusHealth and New York City FC, our team transformed the familiar game of foosball into a life-size interactive experience for the FIFA World Cup Fan Zone in Queens. Rather than playing from outside the table, visitors could step directly into the game, becoming part of the same system that normally moves miniature players across a tabletop.

Bringing the concept to life required our team to rethink how a traditionally small and simple game could translate into a large-scale physical experience. We worked collaboratively across concept development, 3D modeling, fabrication, and assembly to create an installation designed for public interaction and repeated use. The final experience brought these elements together to turn a familiar tabletop game into a social and immersive activity for World Cup fans.

Character Design · 3D Modeling

I designed the visual form of the football player figurines and developed their 3D models for the installation. Starting from the recognizable silhouette of a traditional foosball player, I explored the character's proportions, geometry, and overall visual language to create a playful form that could be translated into a full-scale physical object. I worked closely with the team to ensure the final design could be incorporated into the larger installation while maintaining the intended character and visual identity.
